There are currently two free Fortnite cosmetics available, the Heartspan Glider and the Cuddle Hearts Wrap. Here’s how to get them.
Epic Games added a new free cosmetic in the v7.40 update, the Heartspan Glider. The Cuddle Hearts Wrap is also still be available, and is being granted by Epic Games today. Here’s how to get both the cosmetics if you haven’t done so already.
Free Heartspan Glider
The Heartspan glider was added in the v7.40 update today and is available for free. Epic re-enabled gifting in today’s update, and n order to obtain the Heartspan Glider, you’ll need to have someone gift you the glider. In order to gift someone an item, you’ll need to turn on 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) on your account if you haven’t already. In order to do this, go to https://fortnite.com/2FA. Once you’re on this page, do the following steps.
- Open account settings by hovering over your username in the top right corner and selecting personal.
- Select password and security.
- At the bottom, click on the button labeled enable two-factor sign in.
Once you have 2FA enabled, players simply need to head on over to the item shop, click on the Heartspan glider, and select buy as a gift, selecting whoever you want to gift it to. You must have been friends for at least 48 hours in order to gift someone an item. You cannot gift this item to yourself, so it’s best to trade gifts with a friend.
Free Cuddle Hearts Wrap
In order to receive the free Cuddle Hearts Wrap, players simply need to add a support-a-creator code to the Item Shop. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be granted the Cuddle Hearts Wrap. If you’re not sure how to add a support-a-creator code, here’s how.
Locate the “Support a Creator” button at the bottom right of the item shop page.
Click the button and add in any valid support-a-creator code. If you’d like to support us and use ours, enter FORTNITE-INSIDER and click accept.
You’ll then be granted the Cuddle Hearts Wrap. A message will appear on screen when you’ve given the wrap as seen below:
Be sure to get these free cosmetics as soon as you can, as they won’t be available for long.
