In June, new files were added to the Fortnite database called ‘Fly Explosives’ and had the following description:
This mode combines the explosive fun of the High Explosives LTM and the vaulted Limited Time Item Jetpack. Take to the skies and blast everyone else back to the lobby!
Looks like a new screen has been added for this LTM:
Want to fly?
Jetpacks can be found as floor loot – check those attics and basements!
Looking to blow something up?
All ecplosive-type weapons can be found in this mode, usually hidden within a Treasure Chest or Supply Drop.
‘Splode the Enemies
Send them all back to the lobby to earn the Victory Royale.
The community loved the original High Explosives LTM and have been asking for this mode to return. Looks like Epic are listening to their fans once again and could be releasing this mode in the near future.
This mode could be added as soon as tomorrow, with the V5.1 Content Update, but there has not been an official announcement by Epic Games yet. However, on Reddit, Epic employee DustyDevo hinted the following three days ago:
This suggest that the LTM will be coming out some time this week, along with the limited time item, Jetpacks.
The Guided Missile is making it’s return to Fortnite tomorrow, which would fit in well with this new mode.
