Here is how I managed to solve Wordle 1271 in five guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ first, which is my usual starter word.
This word showed me that there is a U in the word, but it is not the second letter.
I wanted to guess a word that puts the U in a different position and has an E in it, so I guessed the word ‘PRUNE’ next.
The P and U were correctly placed, leaving three letters to be guessed.
I guessed the word ‘PLUSH’ next, which placed the L correctly as the second letter.
‘PLUCK’ was the next word I guessed, but unfortunately no new letters were shown to be in the Wordle answer today.
I was then able to solve the answer to Wordle 1271 in my next guess, which is…
PLUMB!
