Elderwoods has just been introduced to the Palia world and there are new quests you can complete.
Some of the quests require you to obtain the Toadstool Floatfish, but where can it be found?
Where is the Elderwood Toadstool Floatfish in Palia?
The Toadstool Floatfish is located in the lakes of the Elderwoods map.
Lakes in Palia are considered to be the body of water around the island. Simply look at your map and go to the water located west of the map.
We found it very easy to find the Toadstool Floatfish in De Mer Dock, which is B8 on the map.

How to get the Toadstool Floatfish in Palia
In order to get the Toadstool Floatfish, you need to make sure you have NO bait on your fishing rod.
It actually looks like a jellyfish when you are fishing it from the water.
Here is how it looks in-game when you are reeling the Toadstool Floatfish in.

This fish does jump, so when it does this, make sure you stop reeling it in and wait for it to get back in the water before you start reeling again so it doesn’t get away.
As with all other fishes in Palia, you will be able to get a star quality Toadstool Floatfish when you get it from a fishing spot, which is indicated with the a round pool in the water.
Something new in Elderwoods is infected fishing spots, which you will need a special hook to fish in it.
