Palia Winterlights Chest Map Locations – Zeki’s Winterfest Challenge 2025

Here is where you can find all the Winterlights Treasure Chests in Palia for Zeki’s Winterfest Challenge 2025.

The Winterlights celebration has returned to Palia in patch 0.198 and there is a lot of content that has been added to this update, with Zeki’s Treasure Chest Winterfest Challenge being one of them!

You will need to check your mailbox for a letter from Zeki, which contains seven clues for the location of the chests this year.

You can find these chests in any order and once you interact with each chest you will receive:

Winterlights Chest x1
Winterlights Gift Bag x1
Gold Coins x50
Snowballs x10

Opening the Winterlights Gift Bags will give you a Winterlight decoration at random and you will be able to purchase the rest from the Winterlights Store located outside of Zeki’s shop.

Here is what the mail looks like, with the clues noted in a list.

Winterlights Chest Locations 2025

All of the chests can be found in Kilima and we have shown the location of each chest, with a map at the end of this article with the exact position of each.

The first clue is:

“One’s stayin’ hydrated by the Inn’s outer docks.”

This clue is hinting at the docks of Kilima Inn, which means it has to be located somewhere at the back of the building.

The exact location of the treasure chest is at the back to the left of the inn in E7 and here is what it looks like in-game:

The second clue is:

“Two was headed to Embra but slipped on the rocks.”

You can find this chest by heading to Pheonix falls in F4.

The exact location of the chest is under the bridge, on some rocks and here is what it looks like in-game:

The third clue is:

“Three’s by the pond and can’t find its way down.”

The pond is referring to Mirror Pond Ruins in D3.

It “can’t find it’s way down” as it is hidden in a tree! Use the ruins to help you get to the branch with the chest on it as you cannot climb the tree.

The fourth clue is:

“While four’s catching Zzz’s in an office in town.”

The only offices in town are in the City Hall, located in F7 of the map.

To find this chest, you will need to enter the hall and go up the stairs on the right and go into Eshe’s office.

Look to the right and you will see the chest on the shelves as seen in the image below:

The fifth clue is:

“Five thinks it’s hidden beneath a gazebo.”

There are a few gazebos in Kilima, but this particular chest can be found in the gazebo located in F7 next to the presents and the tree.

The sixth clue is:

“Six ain’t eavesdroppin’, ask Jina, she’d know!”

This chest can be found behind Hekla’s tent in C4, hidden in the bushes.

The seventh and final clue is:

“Seven’s the last, then you’ve got them all – just look in the shadows by ol’ Butterball!”

This is of course at the farm in C6, with the exact location of the chest being on a pile of logs in a shed.

As previously mentioned, the gift bags will grant you a Winterlights themed item and you can purchase the ones you didn’t receive from the shop outside of Zeki’s General Store.
