Here is how I managed to solve Wordle 1699 in three guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ first, which is my usual starter word.
This word placed the U correctly as the second letter.
I then wanted to guess a word that has an E in it, so I guessed the word ‘PURSE’ next.
This was a great word to guess as it placed the R and E correctly and showed me there is an S in the Wordle answer today.
S has to be the first letter, leaving the fourth letter to be guessed.
I was then able to solve the answer to Wordle 1699 in the next guess, which is…
