Here is how I managed to guess the answer to Wordle 272 in four guesses. The first word I guessed was ‘AUDIO’ and this showed me there is an A and U in the word today. I decided to then choose a word that has an E in it and has the A and U in a different position in the word to see if I can place it.
The next guess I made was ‘URATE’ which still hadn’t placed the A and U in the right place, but it did place the T and E in the correct places and only leaves one letter to reveal. I also know where the A and U are placed, due to the process of elimination which means I only had to guess the first letter.
The first guess I went for was ‘HAUTE’, which was not the answer. The next guess I made is the answer to Wordle 272, which is…
