Word Hurdle is the new name for the game that was previously known as Wordle 2. In this game, players must guess the six-letter word in six or fewer guesses. The rules are similar to Wordle in that players are not given any initial clues as to what the word is and all guesses must be words in the American English language.
When you make a guess, the colours of the tiles will change, indicating whether the letters you guessed are in the answer and whether you correctly placed them in the word. This game’s colours are grey, yellow, and blue, which have most likely been changed to distinguish itself more between Wordle and Word Hurdle.
In contrast to Wordle though, there are two words released daily in Word Hurdle, one at midnight and the other at midday. Both answers are covered in the same article, so scroll slowly to avoid seeing any spoilers for the afternoon word!

Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 180 in six guesses today to make up for the fact I got lucky for the morning word! First, I guessed the word ‘AUDIOS’, which showed me there is a D in the word today, but it has not been placed correctly. As no vowels have been revealed, the word must have at least one E.
I guessed the word ‘RECEDE’ to see how many E’s are in the word and luckily, this guess placed one of the E’s in the correct positions and also showed me that there is another E in the word, but has not been placed correctly. There is also an R and D in the word, but these letters have not been placed in the right positions.
The next word I guessed was ‘DEGREE’ and I know this cannot be the word as I already know the answer does not have three E’s in it but I wanted to see if I could reveal more letters and place the other E correctly.
This word placed the other E, but no other letters. I then guessed the word ‘HERDED’, which placed the D in the correct place. This word also showed me that the word must end in an R so I guessed the word ‘MELDER’. This helped me to guess the answer to Word Hurdle 180, which is…
