Foodle is another Wordle-inspired game we have recently discovered and the aim of this game is to guess the food-related word. The rules are the same as Wordle whereby players must guess the five-letter word (American English) for it to be classed as a guess. Once you have made a guess, the tiles will change colour, letting you know if the letters you guessed appear in the word or not.

Unfortunately with this game, the board resets when you exit the browser, which means you cannot compare the words you used to get the answer with friends and family once they have made their guesses if you do not keep the game open. There are also no statistics for you to be able to keep track of how many games you have won in a row, but you can still share your results on social media once you have completed the Foodle.

What is the Foodle 124 Answer Today? (May 4th, 2022)

Here is how I managed to guess the answer for Foodle 124 in four guesses today, but it was a hard one! The first word I guessed is ‘GRAPE’, my usual starter word and this showed me that there is an A in the answer, but it has not been placed correctly.

I then guessed the word ‘TASTY’ as this word uses letters that have not been guessed yet and it also places the A in a different position. This guess only placed the A in the correct position and did not reveal any new letters.

I figured there must be another vowel in the word and the easiest word to guess with all the unguessed vowels is ‘AUDIO’. This showed me that there is an I and O in the word, but they are not in the correct position. This surprised me as I thought that there would only be one more vowel in the word.

I finally managed to think of the answer to Foodle 124, which is…
