Word Hurdle is the new name for the game that was previously known as Wordle 2. In this game, players must guess the six-letter word in six or fewer guesses. The rules are similar to Wordle in that players are not given any initial clues as to what the word is and all guesses must be words in the American English language.
When you make a guess, the colours of the tiles will change, indicating whether the letters you guessed are in the answer and whether you correctly placed them in the word. This game’s colours are grey, yellow, and blue, which have most likely been changed to distinguish itself more between Wordle and Word Hurdle.
It looks like this game has moved to a different website and there are new options you can choose to play, with a five-letter and a four-letter variation. What is the Word Hurdle #231 (Morning) Answer Today? (May 14th, 2022)
Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 231 in five guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIOS’ first, as usual, which showed me that there was a D and O in the word, but they have not been placed correctly.
I then guessed the word ‘DOWNER’ as this places the known letters in different positions as well as using letters that have not been guessed yet. This was a great word to guess as it placed the O, E and R in the correct positions. Even though the D had not been placed correctly, I know it has to be the fourth letter as this is the only place it can be.
Based on this information, I decided to guess the word ‘FOLDER’, but this only placed the D correctly (which I already knew was in that place). I then guessed the word ‘CORDER’. This placed the R in the correct position, which only left the first letter to be guessed. This made it easier to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 231 in my next guess, which is…

What is the Word Hurdle #232 (Afternoon) Answer Today? (May 14th, 2022)
Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 232 today in five guesses. I guessed the word ‘AUDIOS’ first (as per usual), which was a great word to guess for the word today as it placed the I in the correct position as well as showing me there is an O in the word.
I then guessed the word ‘BROILS’ because it places the O in a different position and uses some other letters, but I know it cannot be the answer as there are no S’s in the word. This word did not place the O in the correct position, but it did reveal that there is an L in the word.
The next word I guessed was ‘CONING’ as I wanted to see if I could reveal other letters in the word and place the O. This word did place the O correctly and also show that there is a C in the word.
I guessed the word ‘POLICE’ next and this was a great word to guess as it placed the P, L and C in the correct positions, which means that I only have the last letter to be guessed. This made it a lot easier to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 232 in my next guess, which is…
