It’s been more than three months since the release of Quordle, a daily word puzzle game that tasks players with guessing four five-letter words in nine attempts or less.
Although it wasn’t the first word game to take inspiration from Worlde, it appears as though it’s the most popular Wordle alternative right now.
The game was created after the developer, Freddie Meyer, came across an article about Dordle, a game that tasks players with guessing two five-letter words.
After a rough launch at the end of January, it gained traction after multiple large publishers covered Quordle. There are currently more than two million daily players with a total of fifteen million players.
It’s one of few word games to have a practice mode, which allows players to go through as many puzzles as they want. However, none of the completed puzzles will count towards your win streak as that only applies to the daily mode.
A new Quordle is released at midnight local time, and you’ll find everything you need to conquer today’s puzzle, Quordle 76, which was released on April 11, 2022.
