Since the success of Wordle, there have been a large number of games that have been released have taken inspiration from the popular daily word game.
Some of the most popular games are ones that have a unique twist on the game like Heardle, Nerdle, and Quordle. There are a number of sports games that have been released recently, one of which is Poeltl.
Poeltl was created by Dunktown, a popular NBA podcast. For those new to the game, the premise is simple; players need to guess the mystery NBA player.
Players get eight guesses to conquer Poeltl, and there are seven different columns that provide feedback once you’ve made a guess. A column in green means there’s a match, a yellow in the team column means the mystery player once played in the team but doesn’t currently, and yellow in the position column is a partial match to the mystery NBA player’s position.
If any of the other columns are yellow, it indicates the attribute is within two (inches, years, numbers) of the mystery player. If you’re still finding it difficult to guess the mystery player, there’s a silhouette mode located under the columns.
