Canuckle is the Canadian version of Wordle where all the words are Canadian-themed. The rules of the game are the same where players need to guess the five-letter word with no clues. Once a guess has been made, the tiles will change colour to let you know if the letters you have guessed are in the answer and if you have placed them correctly in the word.
The colours are slightly different, with just the bright red replacing the green to show you have the right letter in the correct place. Both of the other colours are the same, yellow and grey, letting you know if the letter is in the word or not. There is also a fun fact that is given to you when you guess the answer and you can see the fun facts being expanded on, on their Twitter account, @CanuckleGame.

What is the Canuckle 89 Answer Today? (May 9th, 2022)
Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Canuckle 89 today in five guesses. I started with the word ‘MAPLE’ which was a good guess as it showed me there is a P and L in the word. As none of the vowels in the word are in the answer, I decided to guess the word ‘SPOOL’ to see if I could place the P and L and to see if there are any O’s in the word.
This was not a great guess for the word as none of the letters were placed correctly and no new letters were revealed. I then guessed the word ‘GUISE’ to see if there is a U and I in the and luckily this word placed the U in the correct place and also revealed that there is an I in the word.
The next word I guessed was ‘PULLI’ to see if I could place any of the known letters correctly. This was a great word to guess as it placed the L in the correct position. I figured that the I would be the fourth letter and the P was likely the last.
This helped me to guess the answer to Canuckle 89 in my next guess, which is…
