So you must have heard of the viral game Wordle and if not, where have you been? Wordle has a simple concept where you need to guess the five-letter word in six guesses or less and there are no clues given to you at the start. The tiles change to green, yellow or grey to let you know if the letters appear in the word and if they are in the same position. This is all relevant for Crosswordle, which we will tell you about in a moment.
This is what the colours mean:
- Green – You have the right letter in the correct position
- Yellow – You have the right letter but in the wrong position
- Grey – The letter does not appear in the word at all
In Crosswordle, you essentially need to work backwards. You are given the answer, but you will see there is a grid with green, yellow and grey squares. The aim of the game is to fill out the grid, making sure you pay attention to the grey and yellow squares especially. There are multiple solutions for this game, but your job is to get one of them.
What is the Crosswordle 36 Answer Today? (February 24th, 2022)
For the Crosswordle today, you were given the word ‘TAROT’. You know that the third word will have to start with TA as the first two squares are green and you need to pick either the R or the O to be in the last place. You then need to make sure you use two of the coloured letters in the second row and then one of them in the first row.
The solution I came up with is:

- 2nd Word – ACTED
- 3rd Word – TAPIR
