Grey indicates that the letter you guessed is not in the word at all, so you should avoid using it in future guesses.

What is the Wordle 1200 Answer Today? (October 1st, 2024)
Here is how I managed to solve Wordle 1200 in four guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ first, which is my usual starter word.
This was a good starter word as it placed the D correctly as the third letter and showed me that there is an O in the Wordle answer today.
I wanted to guess a word that puts the O in a different position and has an E in it, so I guessed the word ‘ODDER’ next.
The E was placed correctly, but no other letters were revealed to be in the answer.
The O has to be the second letter, so I decided to guess the word ‘MODEL’ next.
This was a great word to guess as it placed the M and O correctly, leaving the last letter to be guessed.
I was able to solve the answer to Wordle 1200 in my next guess, which is…
MODEM!
