Here is how I managed to solve Wordle 1272 in five guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ first, which is my usual starter word.
This word showed me that there is an I in the word, but it is not the fourth letter.
I wanted to guess a word that puts the I in a different position and has an E in it, so I guessed the word ‘PRICE’ next.
The I was correctly placed in the middle of the word, but no other letters were revealed to be in the Wordle answer today.
I guessed the word ‘STILL’ next, which revealed no new letters again.
‘WHINY’ was the next word I guessed, which placed the N correctly as the fourth letter and it showed me that there is a Y in the Wordle answer today.
I thought the Y would be the second letter and the last letter could possibly be a G.
I was then able to solve the answer to Wordle 1272 in my next guess, which is…
