Day 8 of the 14 days of Fortnite event went live today and the Take the Elf emote reward had issues whereby players weren’t getting the reward in their locker.
The eighth day of the 14 days of Fortnite event went live today and players needed to damage opponents with different weapons in order to receive the day 8 reward. There was an issue with the reward as players didn’t receive the Take the Elf emote in their locker.
Epic Games annoucned that players would receive the reward early next year, but it appears as though the issue has now been fixed and players have been granted the reward.
The official France Fortnite Twitter account stated the issue has been fixed and all eligible players will receive the emote.

“The worries of connections and matchmaking have been solved! We’ve also corrected the problem with the Hote La La emote from challenge # 8: all eligible players have now received it!”
Players simply need to log in to Fortnite and they’ll see the reward in the locker.
