In the first chapter of Fortnite, Epic Games would host live events to end most of the seasons. However, Epic has dialed back the number of Fortnite live events since then.
However, when Epic decides to put on a live event, it usually meets expectations. Last week, Epic announced that the current season of Fortnite, Galactic Battle, will conclude with the Death Star Sabotage Fortnite live event.
Part of the announcement also stated that a lead-up to the June 2025 Fortnite live event will begin on May 29th with a Rift gate spawning in Battle Royale and Zero Build matches.
Players can find and use the rift gate, which will send them to the capital ship where they’ll be able to rain down destruction from above.
