What is the Wordle 769 Answer Today? (July 28th, 2023)
Here is how I managed to solve Wordle 769 in five guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ first, which is my usual starter word.
This word showed me that there is an O in the answer, but it has not been correctly placed.
I then wanted to guess a word that puts the O in a different position and has an E in it so the next word I guessed was ‘PRONE’.
This word shows me that there is an E in the word, but no letters have been correctly placed.
The next word I guessed was ‘COMET’, which showed me that there is a T in the Wordle answer today.
Still none of the letters have been correctly placed.
I then decided to guess the word ‘EXTOL’ next as it places the known letters in different positions.
This was a good word to guess as it placed the E and O correctly as the first and fourth letters.
The T has to be the second letter by process of elimination, leaving the second and fifth letters to be guessed. Luckily the next word I guessed was the answer to Wordle 769, which is…
ETHOS!
