Epic Games fixed an issue with the new style of the Fortnite Whiteout skin.
In the v8.10 update, Epic Games added in new styles for several skins that either had a mask or a helmet. The first skin in Season 8 to be given a new style was the Waypoint skin in v8.01, followed by Scarlet Defender, Elite Agent, Renegade Raider, Overtaker and Whiteout.
When the Whiteout skin was given a new style, there was a bug causing the new styled to be locked. Epic have addressed the issue in today’s v8.11 update and mentioned it in today’s patch notes, but may have missed by players. All players who own the skin can now use the new, helmetless style.

Epic Games stated in a post that they would be working on more outfit styles in the future along with other improvements to the art of Fortnite including improvements to the lighting and the day/night cycle.
