The Battle Pass skins for the new season were released a few days ago which also teased the Godzilla collaboration with leakers confirming Kong will be coming to the Fortnite world.
With Epic Games concluding Chapter 5 and Fortnite Remix with a live event, the Fortnite servers are now offline on 30th November 2024 / 1st December 2024, and players are wondering why.

In the blog post announcing the recent Fortnite Remix: The Finale live event, Epic Games stated that the event would conclude Chapter 5, however, players could still play the game after the event.
Epic Games has since announced server maintenance downtime and currently, the Fortnite servers are currently down and the game will be unplayable until the release of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters.
The new Chapter of Fortnite will launch on 1st December 2024, but as of writing, there’s no information as to when the Fortnite servers will be back online.

A new chapter also means a brand new map and thanks to data miners, we already have the mini map for the chapter 6:
Hitscan will be returning to the game which means the removal of bullet drop. A new AR has been confirmed with the below image.
Epic Games will also be introducing new movement mechanics including the ability to wall jump and roll after landing after being in the air.
Godzilla will enter the Fortnite universe as both a skin and boss.
A giant turtle POI will be in the new chapter and will move around the map.
