Here is how I managed to solve Wordle 1666 in four guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ first, which is my usual starter word.
This word placed the I correctly as the fourth letter and there is an A in the Wordle answer today.
I guessed the word ‘SNAIL’ next as I thought the A would be before the I in the answer today.
This word showed me there is an N in word, but it has not been correctly placed.
‘PANIC’ was the next word I guessed as it puts the known letters in different positions.
The A, N and C were correctly placed in the Wordle answer today, leaving only the first letter to be guessed.
I was then able to solve the answer to Wordle 1666 in my next guess, which is…
MANIC!
