The Fortnite Season 9, Week 5 challenges have been leaked ahead of time from today’s v9.20 update.
The Fortnite v9.20 update recently went live after more than 3 hours of downtime. As with every patch update, Epic added a number of new files including new cosmetics that’ll be available in the Fortnite Item shop, new event files, map changes and the week 5 challenges.
The Season 9, Week 5 challenges will go live in under an hour, but dataminer Lucas7Yoshi has leaked them ahead of time. As with every week, there are four Battle Pass challenges and three free challenges. You can view all of the week 5 challenges below:

Free challenges
- Deal damage to opponents with grenades, dynamite, or stink bombs (200)
- Search chests at Salty Springs or Frosty Flights (7)
- Eliminate an opponent in different matches (5)
Battle Pass challenges
- Stage 1: Complete a lap of a desert race track (1)
Stage 2: Complete a lap of a snowy race track (1)
Stage 3: Complete a lap of a grasslands race track (1) - Place trap items in different matches (5)
- Visit different Wind Turbines in a single match (5)
- Eliminations at Sky Platforms (3)
Upon completing 4 of 7 challenges, players will be rewarded with 5,000 Season XP. If players complete all 7 challenges, they’ll unlock the Utopia challenges week 5 loading screen that you can see below:
