Here’s a quick guide on how and where to fish with explosives in order to complete the week 4 Fortnite challenges.
The Fortnite week 4 challenges will be available to complete at 2pm UTC but thanks to dataminers, we know exactly what the challenges are for part 2 of the TNTina’s Trial challenges.
One of the challenges requires players to fish with explosives. Although this may seem obvious to some players, it’s likely other players may not know how to complete this challenge.
Here’s a quick guide on how to complete the fish with explosives Fortnite challenges.
How to Fish with Explosives in Fortnite
In order to complete this challenge, players will need to fish with explosives three times. This means you’ll need to have three fish come out of the water whilst using explosives.
To complete this challenge quickly after dropping from the battle bus, look for a motorboat. Once you’ve found one, look for a fishing spot, a spot where there’s ripples in the water. Once you find one, shoot a rocket from the motorboat into the fishing spot.
If there’s no fish that appear above the water once you’ve done this, you’ll need to head to another fishing spot and repeat the same action. You’ll need to continue to do this until you’ve seen a total of three fish appear on the water.
Alternatively, you can use different explosive items and weapons and do the same. Weapons and items that’ll work in order to complete this challenge are rocket launches, remote explosives (c4), boom bows and grenades. Simply use the weapon at a fishing spot or throw the grenade or C4 in the fishing spot.
It’s also likely the the propane tanks will work with this challenge if you pick one up and throw it into a fishing spot and shoot at it to explode the propane tank. We haven’t tried this method, but it’ll likely work.
