Octordle is the extreme version of Wordle where players are required to solve eight five-letter words at once with only a maximum of thirteen guesses in which to do it. When you make a guess, it will show up for all eight words and the tiles will change colour, letting you know if the letters appear in the word and if you have positioned them correctly.
There are some changes that have been made to the game recently, with one of them being with the letters at the bottom. Previously, when you had guessed a letter, the letter would split into four with the colours changing depending on if the letter is the first four words. The issue with this is that it would only work for the first four words, so it could show a letter as grey because it’s not in the first four words, but could be in the last four.
The developer of the game has now addressed this issue and you will now notice the letter is split into eight, so that it shows you where the letter stand in all of all eight words instead of the first four.
