Crosswordle is essentially reverse Wordle where you are given the answer, but you need to work backward and fill in the words that would have led to the answer. You are given a grid that has green, yellow, and grey tiles and you need to remember the rules of Wordle and fill out the grid.
You are also not allowed to repeat letters that have been in previous rows if they are in grey and you need to pay attention to the yellow squares and the letters you can and can’t place in them. There are multiple solutions to the Crosswordle puzzle, but it can be difficult to solve if you have not come across the game before.
What is the Crosswordle 57 Answer Today? (March 17th, 2022)
Today, the word you have been given as the answer is ‘SPORT’. Looking at the row above, there are two green squares and one yellow square. You know that the letters in the green squares have to be O and T as it has to be the same letter in that position in the answer.
The letter in the yellow square can be S or R. It cannot be P as it is directly above it.
The second row has two yellow squares so you will have to use two of the previous coloured tile letters to place here, but you cannot have an S at the start or a T at the end of the word.
There is only one yellow square in the first row, which will have to be the letter you have placed in the last yellow square of the second row.
