Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Wordle 294 today. First I guessed the word ‘AUDIO’ which placed the I in the correct place as well as showing me there is an A in the word. The A and I will likely appear together in the word so I guessed the word ‘STAIN’ as it also uses letters I have not previously used.
