Wordle, Dordle, and Quordle are the top three most popular daily word games. Despite the fact that Wordle is akin to an old game show, other games have credited it and created their own spin on it.
Dordle was one of the first games to come out after Wordle, and Freddie Meyer, the inventor of Quordle, stumbled across an article mentioning the game and decided to create Quordle at the end of January.
More than six weeks ago, the information section on the site stated that there were over 500,000 daily gamers and over 2 million total players. Fast forward to today, and there are over 2 million daily players and a total of 15 million.
If you’ve never played Quordle before, it’s a game in which players are given nine chances to guess four five-letter words. Similar to Wordle, the tiles will change colour to show whether the letters in the guess you’ve submitted are in the word and whether they’re in the correct location.
A new Quordle is available at midnight local time, although many players change the date on their device so they can play the next Quordle word puzzle sooner.
