Here are the full patch notes of what was added in the 2.03 update today (August 22nd) in Apex Legends.
It has now been a couple of weeks since the new season of Apex Legends launched and the new Legend added to the Games is Vantage. It looks like she will be a popular Legend as her pick rate is quite high and there are many players in the community that are enjoying her abilities, especially her ultimate!
The launch of the season was quite smooth with no major server issues however there have been many bugs that have been reported in the game. With the launch of season 14, Respawn decided to increase the maximum level. This was definitely a welcomed change as it meant more Apex Packs available, meaning players were guaranteed Heirloom Shards, just from levelling up.
Unfortunately, there is some sort of issue with this right now, which Respawn are aware of and are currently working on a fix for, but this has bug has not been sorted in the update that has been released today.
What’s in the Apex Legends 2.03 Update on August 22nd, 2022?
There are a few issues that have been fixed in the 2.03 update that is available for download now. These bug fixes have been announced by Respawn themselves and here are the changes made in this update:
- Players occasionally unable to upgrade weapons in Arenas.
- Collecting a banner when wearing the Seer Heartthrob and Rampart Wastelander Skins causes a crash.
- Vantage cannot use KO shield when knocked while using her tactical jump.
- Vantage range indicator disappears after respawn.
Respawn are still working on a fix for the Apex Packs not being granted to players when levelling up and will provide updates when they will be granted. In a response to a player asking about the packs, they said the following:
“We’re still working on the fix for this but will let you know when it’s ready and in the game. Thanks for being patient with us on this one.”
