Custom games are something the community is looking forward to in Battle Royale, as it will switch up the way people play.
There are so many ways in which Fortnite Battle Royale could be customized, including unlimited building materials, faster storm circles, limited weapon options, more loot spawns, etc.
Having customized games could help some players to become better at Fortnite. If there are unlimited building materials, for example, it could strengthen player’s ability to build. It can also help players to understand the editing option on building pieces that have already been placed.
Having customization available means that players can recreate Limited Time Game Modes that have been launched in the past and have been fan favorites, such as the Sniper Shootout. Some players feel like the LTM’s have been too short and so this would be a great solution to appease these players and to also introduce more LTM’s, as only one is released at a time. Some players may also create unique custom games that could inspire future LTM’s.
Custom games are something Epic are still working on and there is no confirmed date of release as yet.
