There are new Wordle-inspired games released on a daily basis. Most of them will die out pretty quickly, others were released more than a month ago but are only gained traction now.
One of the games that were released at the end of February, but only now is getting some attention is Poeltl. The premise of the game is simple; guess the mystery NBA player in less than eight attempts.
There are seven columns featured in the game that provide players with feedback once a guess has been made. A column in green means there’s a match, a yellow in the team column means the mystery player once played in the team but doesn’t currently, and yellow in the position column is a partial match to the mystery NBA player’s position.
If any of the other columns are yellow, it indicates the attribute is within two (inches, years, numbers) of the mystery player. If you’re still finding it difficult to guess the mystery player, there’s a silhouette mode located under the columns.
