There are numerous companies in the market offering gaming chairs. E-Win Racing has established itself as one of the leading companies for high-quality gaming chairs.
One of the issues that customers face when shopping for a gaming chair is the size that suits their frame. Thankfully, E-Win Racing recommends chairs based on their height and weight, making it much easier to find their ideal chair.
With that said, E-Win Racing was kind enough to send out their Champion Series gaming chair for review. Although we were given the chair for free, it will not alter our opinion in any way and the review below will be our honest opinion.
E-Win Champion Series Chair – Design & Features
The Champion Series comes in several different colors, designs, and materials. The company sent me the grey Weave version of the Champion series chair, but it’s also available in E-Win’s stain-resistant 2.0 PU Leather.
Although the 2.0 PU Leather is easier to clean, I’m a fan of E-Win’s Weave fabric with higher comfort that’ll suit those who regularly have longer gaming sessions.
The chair we were sent features a diamond-shaped design on the backrest with black accents on the sides of both the backrest and seat. Although it’s a fairly simplistic design, I’m not too fond of gaming chairs with too much going on, so I’m a fan of the design.
In terms of features, the Champions series gaming chair comes with 4D adjustable armrests, a multi-functional tilt, a class 4 gas lift, and more.
The company’s chairs come with a high-density upholstery foam lumbar pillow which we found enhanced the comfort of the chair and looks made to last a few years. Our chair came with a magnetic memory foam head pillow. However, you’ll need to fork over an additional $69 if you’re looking to get your hands on one.
While we found the quality and material of the head pillow average, it does provide an additional level of comfort. For me, however, I’m not one to lean my head on a head pillow for long and therefore don’t get much use from it.
Assembling the Chair
I’ve assembled a fair few gaming chairs over the year and thankfully, the experience was one of the best I’ve had.
The chair components were packaged individually ensuring there were no scratches or any kind of damage to them whilst in transit.
It only took me 20 minutes to put the chair together thanks to the crystal clear instructions that were provided in the box. Unlike other chairs, I was able to assemble the chair by myself without many issues.
However, one issue I did come across was the misalignment of one of the screw holes for the armrest which resulted in me having to remove the armrest and then realign it to fit perfectly.
Throne of Comfort?
Whilst there are more ergonomically built chairs that could provide better comfort, the E-Win Champion was quite comfortable.
Having sat in the chair for over 80 hours, I had no complaints about the comfort of the chair. However, we could see how this chair might get uncomfortable with any unfortunate enough to deal with back problems.
Although there is lumbar support in the Champions series, it’s not as good as other chairs we’ve tested. There are knobs on the side of the chair that allows for the intensity and position of the lumbar support to change, I simply couldn’t find a perfect spot.
Again, I had no issues with the comfort level of the chair but the lumbar support could be an issue for those with a bad back. Aside from the lumbar support, the chair seat itself was very comfortable and spacious.
The foam armrests allowed my elbows to sink in slightly and provided enough support and comfort that I didn’t have to keep adjusting the position of my arms. As with any chair that has 4D armrests, I was able to adjust them to support my sitting gaming position without any problems.
Verdict
As expected from E-Win racing, the level of comfort and quality provided by the champion series is nothing short of excellent. The ease of assembly and Weave fabric were our standout features of the chair.
Overall, we’d give the E-Win champion series chair an 8/10.
