We have a day one patch update for Elden Ring, 1.02, released on February 24th, 2022. Here’s the official patch notes.
Elden Ring is finally here. PC players can begin playing, but Xbox and PlayStation players will need to wait until it hits midnight (local time) on February 25th, 2022. There is a method to play earlier than the stated time, which we’ve outlined how to do here.
Elden Ring has received universal acclaim with almost perfect scores on Metacritic. Destructoid, Game Information, IGN, PCGamesN, and other publications have given the game perfect 10/10 scores.
Prior to the game releasing worldwide, we have an Elden Ring day one patch update, 1.02. It should be available to download on all supported platforms and the file size is currently unknown, but we’ll update the post when we have the download size for all platforms.
The 1.02 Elden Ring update improves player controls, fixes numerous bugs, and includes different adjustments. Here’s the official patch notes for the Elden Ring 1.02 day one patch update.

The implementation for ray tracing isn’t included in the day one patch, but we’ll get an announcement on ray tracing support in the near future. Players should see the update download automatically, if not, check for updates on the game if you’re on Xbox, PS4, and PS5.
