Here is how to complete the ‘Destroy Seven Computers and Machinery to Collect Dropped Data Chips Locations’ in different locations for the Fortnite Rebuilding challenges.

Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 2 has just launched and many changes have been made to the game, including map changes, new mechanics, and the biggest change, no building (although it’s not forever)!

New challenges have been released, called the Rebuilding Quests and one of the challenges you need to complete is to ‘Destroy Seven Computers and Machinery to Collect Dropped Data Chips’ and we will show you how and where to complete this challenge.

Destroy Seven Computers and Machinery to Collect Dropped Data Chips Locations in Fortnite

The best place to complete this challenge is in the Sanctuary. The building you can go to is the once southeast in the POI, which we have marked on the map below.

When you have entered the  building, you will see that there are many computers and other machinery in this location and all you need to do is simply go up to one and either pickaxe it or shoot at it a few times in order to destroy it. Once you have done that, it will drop a Data Chip if you have destroyed the correct machinery and here is what it looks like:

In order to complete this challenge, you will need to destroy three different computers/ machines and then you will be granted with 40,000 XP which will help you to level up this season. The description you will see in the top left corner is, “That looked expensive. But it had to be done.”

There is also some audio from The Imagined, who says, “That should work for our purposes. Building will be back in no time.”
