Here are all of the sound files that have been leaked by data-miners in the v10.40 update for the upcoming Live Event in Fortnite Battle Royale.
Live Events in Fortnite Battle Royale usually take place at the end of the season and as we are in the final two weeks of Season X, the event should be taking place soon. The v10.40 Fortnite update is now available to download, which means data-miners are able to check the update files to see what new things have been added.
Data-miner @FortTory has managed to find some interesting sound files and Loading Screens for the upcoming Live Event, all of which can be seen below.
Fortnite Season 10 Live Event Leaked Sounds
The following sound files posted by FortTory are launch warning sounds, to signal the launch of the Rocket. There is also a sound file called “PreTakeOffIdle”, which can be heard below:

He has also found tape sounds although they are still encrypted. These tapes are referenced in the leaked Overtime Challenges (Out of Time) where players are required to collect tapes from different locations. You can see all the leaked Out of Time challenges by clicking here.

There are also sound files for a device names NightNight and it does reference the upcoming event. Here is what it sounds like:

Fortnite Season 10 Leaked Live Event Loading Screens
There are also two Loading Screens that have been found, one of which mentions the B.R.U.T.E and the other for the Live Event. The Loading Screen for the B.R.U.T.E can be seen below:
It shows that the B.R.U.T.E vehicle has a virus and it can be seen in three different areas of the robot. It seems more than likely that the B.R.U.T.E’s will be destroyed and will not be making a return to Season 11 of Fortnite.

The second Loading Screen that was leaked is for the Live Event and as for the last few events, there will be a separate LTM and for Season X, this LTM is called “The End”. In this Loading Screen we can see the Scientist at Dusty Depot.
Data-miner @HYPEX has also leaked some Event Strings, which can be seen below:

- The End Comes Quietly
- Activate the beacon at precisely the moment this timer reaches nothing. The Zero Point must be contained once more. If They are correct, it will be the end.
It seems like a lot of the files for the event are encrypted and will not be decrypted until a few hours before the event is set to take place. We will keep you updated on the date and time of the event as soon as it has been announced.
