The 2nd Birthday for Fortnite is now live and a new set of challenges can be completed for this event. Here are
Epic are celebrated its 2nd year of Fortnite by releasing challenges for the event and completing these challenges will unlock exclusive rewards. You will also find Birthday Presents and Birthday Cakes around the map.
The Birthday Presents are of Legendary rarity and they can be found from Floor loot, Chests, Vending Machines, Supply Drops, and Llamas. There are six different possible packages of loot.
The Birthday Cakes can be found in various POIs and will grant you with 5 Health and 5 Shield once consumed. This is the same as last year when the first Birthday Event was released.
Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday Challenges
Here are all of the challenges for the Fortnite Birthday event:
- GUIDE: All birthday cake locations
- Play matches (10)
- Dance in front of different Birthday Cakes (10)
- Outlast Opponents (500)
- Gain health or shield from Birthday Cake (50)
Completing each challenge will unlock a unique Fortnite cosmetic reward. You can see the rewards you will earn by completing each challenge below:
Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday Reward – Frosted Wrap
Once you have played 10 matches, you will unlock the Frosted Wrap, which is of Uncommon rarity.
Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday Reward – B-Day Beats Music
The second challenge to complete for this event is to Dance in front of different Birthday Cakes. Once you have danced in front of 10 Birthday Cakes, you will unlock the B-Day Beats Music. This cosmetic is of Rare rarity and has the description, “Press play and blow out the candles.”
Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday Reward – This Many Spray
Once you have outlasted 500 opponents, you will unlock the This Many Spray, which is of Uncommon rarity.
Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday Reward – Birthday Cupcake Emoji
The final challenge to complete is to gain health or shield from a Birthday Cake and in order to complete this challenge, you will need to gain 50 of health/shield. Upon completing this challenge, you will unlock the Birthday Cake Emoji, which is of Uncommon rarity.
Once you have completed all four challenges, you will unlock the Birthday Slice pickaxe, which can be seen below:
Fortnite’s 2nd Birthday Reward – Birthday Slice Pickaxe
The Birthday Slice pickaxe will be awarded to you as soon as all challenges have been completed. This pickaxe is of Uncommon rarity and has the description, “Make a wish and swing away.”
The challenges are fairly easy to complete and you should earn these rewards in no time. The event will end on Wednesday, July 31st so make sure you complete these challenge as soon as possible to get your rewards and these rewards are exclusive to this event and cannot be awarded later.
