The Discovery Week 8 loading screen contains a clue as to where you can find a hidden banner. Here is the location.
Once you complete a full set of weekly challenges, you will be rewarded with a Discovery loading screen, which contain a clue as to where you can find either a hidden Battle Star or a Banner somewhere on the Fortnite map. Once you have completed 8 weeks of challenges, you will unlock the following loading screen, which contains a clue as to where the hidden Banner can be found.
As the loading screen for week 8 has been leaked by data-miners in the v8.40 update, we already know the location of the banner. If however the Banner is in a different location once the challenges have been released, we will update this article.
In the background, you can see that there are two co-ordinates in the bottom left corner, B6 & B7, and two on the left, C6 & C7. We have highlighted these in the image below if you can’t see them.
The banner will be located where these points meet on the map, which is on the hill north of Polar Peak. We have highlighted the exact location on the map below.
Simply interact with the Banner once you have dropped in this location, but remember the Banner will only be visible to you once the loading scree has been unlocked.
Once you have completed 55 weekly challenges, you will unlock the Ruin skin. This skin will have six challenges for you to complete in order to unlock the back bling and the pickaxe. You can see the challenges here.
