Last month, players could download the 1.010 patch update. It was released on December 1st, and was the third season of the popular basketball game. The file size varied, but Xbox players unfortunately needed to download a 70GB update.
Today’s update on January 12th, 2022 introduces new content for season 4 of NBA 2K22 and is included in the 1.012 patch update. It’s available to download on PS5 and Xbox Series X at the moment.
NBA 2K22 will officially launch on Friday, January 14th and will come with new content which is yet to be announced. However, today’s update includes updated player likeness for more than thirty players. There is one gameplay change with players now required to press the stral button in order to intercept a pass.
