A new Storm Flip item is coming soon to Fortnite Battle Royale.
Epic add new items to Fortnite Battle Royale on a weekly basis and this is usually announced via the in-game newsfeed. In last weeks update, Epic has released the Burst SMG weapon which has the following stats.
- Available in Common, Uncommon and Rare variants.
- Fires a quick 4 round burst.
- Deals 23, 24, 25 damage.
- 1.75x headshot multiplier.
- 24 round magazine.
- Can be found from Floor Loot, Chests, and Vending Machines.
- Uses Light Ammo.
The in-game newsfeed for Fortnite has just updated to show that the Storm Flip item will be coming soon. The description for the item is, “Unleash the storm or tame it. The choice is yours!”
There isn’t much information on this item and it has not been added to the files as yet.
This item will most likely be coming to Fortnite on Wednesday, when the v9.20 update should be going live, but the time of release of this patch has not yet been confirmed by Epic themselves.
It is possible that this item will be a consumable which could allow players to not deal any damage whilst being in the storm or it could be a throwable item which could create a mini storm where it is thrown and players in this min storm will get some damage.
