There’s a brand new console update for Rust, 1.22, released today. Here are the official patch notes for the January 13, 2022 update for PS4 and Xbox.
Like with most major game titles, there weren’t any major updates during the festive period to end 2021. However, popular game titles including Warzone and Valorant have pushed their first major update of the new year in recent days.
We have the first Rust console update today, 1.22. The January 13 Rust console update today fixes a number of bugs that players were unfortunately using to exploit the game.
Thankfully, the new Rust 1.22 update addresses these issues including players flying around and issues with the moon spinning around. We also have fixes for skin graphics and the locker UI, issues with some of the boxes on the map including when a light source was on them, and an issue with the flashlight on one of the popular weapons.
