The Fortnite Daily Challenges have been replaced with Limited Time Missions instead for Season X.
There are many changes that have been made in Fortnite Season X with challenges being removed from the game and have been replaced with missions. In the past, players would be able to log in to Fortnite and have up to three daily challenges they could complete at any time.
These Daily Challenges have now been replaced with Limited Time Missions, where a new challenge is unlocked every day, but completing each challenges will unlock Battle Stars, XP and Loading Screens.
B.R.U.T.E. Squad Limited Time Missions
The first Limited Time Missions to be released is called B.R.U.T.E Squad and it shows a total of seven challenges, but only one is unlocked at the moment and the other challenges will be released one a day.
It shows on the top that there is 7 days to complete all the challenges before they are removed which means you will have about 24 hours to complete the last challenge when it is released.
Here is the first objective to complete in the B.R.U.T.E Squad Limited Time Missions:
- Play matches with a friend (3)
There are seven rewards you can earn, completing each challenge will unlock a new reward and the rewards you earn are unlocked in following order, regardless of the challenge you complete:
- 1 objective completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 2 objectives completed – 500 XP
- 3 objectives completed – B.R.U.T.E Squad Loading Screen
- 4 objectives completed – 1,000 XP
- 5 objectives completed – 500 XP
- 6 objectives completed – 10 Battle Stars
- 7 (All) objectives completed – 2,000 XP
B.R.U.T.E Squad Loading Screen
Here is what the B.R.U.T.E Squad Loading Screen looks like. It is of Uncommon rarity and it has the description, “You can’t hide.”
Epic have release Challenge Skin Bundles in the past, with Breakpoint being the latest, which requires players to complete Daily Challenges in order to gain V-Bucks. Epic have confirmed that by completing the Limited Time Mission Objectives, it will count as a Daily Challenge.
