Crosswordle is similar to Wordle in that you are given the answer, but you must work backward to see if you can figure out what words you could have used to complete the puzzle. You are given a grid and must fill it in with words while keeping the colour of the tiles in mind.
The colour of the tiles indicates which letters can be placed in them, with green tiles representing the letter in the answer in the same position. Yellow can be any letter in the solution as long as it is not in the same position as the solution. Grey must be a letter that does not appear in the answer at all, and these letters must not appear in the row above or below as well.
This game is harder than it appears, but don’t worry as we’ll be back every day with the answers so you can see what words we used to help you complete your puzzle. Because of the nature of the puzzle game, multiple words could have been used, and we will reveal another solution every day.
What is the Crosswordle 83 Answer Today? (April 12, 2022)
The word at the bottom of the Crosswordle 83 is ‘LOOPY’ and for all the weekday puzzles, there are only three words you need to fill in. The row above the word you are given has one green tile, which has to be Y and there are two yellow tiles in the row as well. The letters in these tiles can be P, O , or L, making sure you do not place them in the column that has the same letter.
The second row has two yellow tiles, and they will need to be from the coloured-tiles in the row below, but again, you need to make sure you do not place it in a column that already uses that letter. There is one final yellow tile in the first row, which cannot be a Y or the letter you used the the row below.
