Crosswordle is a fairly new game that has been released which is based on the viral word game Wordle. In Wordle, players need to guess the five-letter word in six guesses or less, with no clues given to you at the start, and this word can be anything in the American English language. It seems impossible when you just hear that, but when you make a guess, the tiles will change colour to let you know if the letters you have chosen appear in the word and if it has been positioned in the right spot. Here are what the colours mean:
- Green – You have the right letter in the correct position
- Yellow – You have the right letter but in the wrong position
- Grey – The letter does not appear in the word at all
In Crosswordle, you are given a grid, where you will see only one word at the bottom, which will be all in green tiles meaning it’s the ‘answer’. Looking at the rows above, you will see green, yellow, and grey tiles throughout the grid and it’s your job to fill in the word above, using the rules of what the colour means.
You also need to keep into account that this would be essentially the hard mode of Wordle where you have to use the letters you know in the row below and you cannot use letters you know don’t appear in the word as you have already guessed those letters in the previous guess. This game is reverse Wordle and due to the nature of the game, there are multiple solutions.
What is the Crosswordle 44 Answer Today? (March 4th, 2022)
Some of these puzzles can be hard to complete but don’t worry as we will have the answers to these every day to help you. The answer to the puzzle is ‘ERECT’. You will see that in the third row, there are two green squares, which means you have to place two E’s in these squares. There is one yellow square, so you can choose to put either an R or Y in it as it can’t be C and you’ve already used the two E’s. The second row has two yellow squares and the first row has only one.
Here are the words I used to complete the puzzle:
- 1st Word – DOLOR
- 2nd Word – PURSE
- 3rd Word – EVERY
Once you have completed the puzzle, you can also be other solutions to the same puzzle, and here are some other words you could have used:
- 1st Word – MANOR
- 2nd Word – PURSE
- 3rd Word – EVERY
From looking at the majority of the solutions to this puzzle today, it looks like EVERY has been used for all as the third word.
