Quordle is a fairly new game that takes what made Wordle successful but includes its own twist. Instead of tasking players with guessing one five-letter word, you’ll need to guess four.

You’ll get an additional three attempts to conquer the daily Quordle. Everything else works the same as Wordle. The tiles for each letter will change colour once you’ve made a guess. The green, yellow, and grey tiles indicate how successful your guessed word is.

For those of you that are new to the game, you can try out the practice mode that’ll allow you to play as many word puzzles as you want, but they won’t count towards your streak.

Once you’ve taken on the daily Quordle, successful or not, you can share your results on social media. There’s a new puzzle at midnight local time but players can change the time and date on their device to play the next puzzle earlier.

Google is your friend – If you’ve discovered more than two correct letters in a word, be sure to google words that begin or end with the letters you have. If the letters are scattered, look up “words with x letter in them.”
