Word Hurdle is the new name for the game that was previously known as Wordle 2. In this game, players must guess the six-letter word in six or fewer guesses. The rules are similar to Wordle in that players are not given any initial clues as to what the word is and all guesses must be words in the American English language.
When you make a guess, the colours of the tiles will change, indicating whether the letters you guessed are in the answer and whether you correctly placed them in the word. This game’s colours are grey, yellow, and blue, which have most likely been changed to distinguish itself more between Wordle and Word Hurdle.
It looks like this game has moved to a different website and there are new options you can choose to play, with a five-letter and a four-letter variation. Here is how I managed to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 225 in three guesses today. I guessed the word ‘AUDIOS’ first, as usual, which was a great word to guess for the word today as it showed me that there is an S and O in the word, although they have not been placed in the correct positions.
I wanted to guess a word that places the S and O in different positions as well as having an E in it and the word I chose to guess next was ‘SORTER’. This word placed the S and the E in the correct positions. It also showed me that there is a T in the word, but not placed correctly.
I decided to place the T an O after the S at the start of the word and this helped me to solve the answer to Word Hurdle 225 in my next guess, which is…
