Wordle 2 requires you to guess the six-letter word in six guesses or less and the game works the same way as the original Wordle does. Players do not know what the words could be, so the first guess will be completely random. Once you have made the guess though, the tiles will change to one of three possible colours.
Green tells you that you have the correct letter and it is positioned in the right place for the word. Yellow means that the letter you have in the square does appear in the word, you just need to move it to a different place. Grey means the letter does not appear in the word at all, so you should avoid using this letter where possible.

Here is how I managed to guess the Wordle 2 #117 word today. I started with my usual starter word, which is ‘AUDIOS’. Unfortunately, this only showed me that there is an A in the word, but has not placed it in the correct position. I needed to guess a word that has an E in it and places the A in a different place.
The next word I guessed was ‘PLANER’. This was a great guess as it placed the E in the correct position and also showed me there is an L and N in the word, but still didn’t place the A in the correct position.
The next guess I made was ‘FASTEN’ and I realised after I did not use the L in the word. It wasn’t a wasted guess though as it placed the F, A and N in the correct positions, which helped me to solve the answer to Wordle 2 #117, which is…

I managed to solve the Wordle 2 #118 word that was released in the afternoon of March 18th, 2022 on my third guess, which was very lucky and you will see why!
The first word I guessed was ‘AUDIOS’ or course and this showed me there was an A and I in the word. I then decided to guess the word ‘REMAIL’ which placed almost the whole word, ‘REMAI’ in the correct position, which meant getting the answer was now very easy. The answer to Wordle 2 #118 is…
