It looks like Warzone keeps crashing for Xbox players on January 13th, 2022.
Raven Software released the mid season update a few hours ago. It was delayed by an hour, but players have been able to download and jump in to experience what the new patch has to offer.
We have a number of nerfs and buffs to Vanguard weapons. The MP40 and the Bren and the two main weapons to receive nerfs. The Akimbo Double Barrel has received another nerf thankfully, so hopefully we don’t see anyone running those atrocious weapons any more.
PlayStation and Xbox players were happy to see that the patch notes stated that several issues causing instability on the two platforms had been addressed with more fixes to come in the near future.
Unfortunately, but unexpectedly, Raven Software have added in new bugs which are now plaguing all players with those black box weapon issues. Xbox players are getting constant Warzone crashing issues on Jan 13 2022, and here’s what we know so far.
How to fix Warzone Keeps Crashing Xbox Jan 13 2022
A large number of players are already complaining on both Twitter and Reddit that Warzone keeps crashing on Xbox after the Jan 13th, 2022 mid season update. A patch that was supposed to address all the issues Xbox players were having has been made worse.
From what we can see, players are crashing no matter what they’re going in game. Some have stated the Xbox version of Warzone keeps crashing even when joining a friend.
Others have crashed whilst editing a loadout in gunsmith or even loading into a game. We’ve seen reports of the game freezing, rebooting the Activision loading screen, then go black and freeze again. Here’s some of the tweets we’ve seen on the Xbox crashing issues:

If you’re looking at how to fix the constant Xbox Warzone crashing issues. it doesn’t seem like you can do anything apart from waiting for Raven Software to release a fix for the issue.
We’ve seen some suggestions to delete and reinstall the game. However, this will not work and will only waste your time.
