Here’s the new Warzone Playlist update that went live today, Thursday 23rd December 2021.
The first week of the new Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific map, Caldera, wasn’t the best. There were a number of issues and players were complaining about not being able to purchase their loadout until the free supply drop was on the map.
Other complaints included the fact that a UAV now costs players $6,000 whereas previously it was $4,000. This has also carried over to Rebirth Island. Players were also unhappy that Rebirth Island was removed for an entire week.
When it was added back, it was quickly removed as there were a few issues including an issue where double weapon XP tokens would stack with the double xp weekend which resulted in players managing to max level weapons in an hour.
We now have a new Warzone playlist update today for December 23rd, 2021 until December 30th, 2021. Here are the game modes that have been added, removed, and the ones which have remained since the previous Warzone playlist update.
December 23rd Warzone Playlist Update
Today’s new playlist update might not be well received for Rebirth Island players. In the previous playlist, we had trios for Rebirth Island Resurgence. Even then, there were complaints it should be quads or that there should always be a quads game mode for Rebirth Island.
With the new Warzone update today, Rebirth Island is only Duos. The other change might be better received. Vanguard Resurgence Quads has made a return. The normal Battle Royal game mode where you can use weapons from any Call of Duty game has been left the same. However, Plunder Duos on the new map makes way for Plunder trios.

We also have a full week of Double XP in both Warzone and Vanguard including double weapon XP. We recommend you jump into Vanguard during this period to level up some weapons now that it’s twice as quick to do so.
