There’s a new small Warzone update that’s gone live today (July 14). Here are the patch notes for the hotfix release.
It’s been just over three weeks since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone season 4. The new season introduced some major map changes to the Pacific map, Caldera, including the return of a popular location on Verdansk, Storage Town.
As with all new seasons, we had new weapons, operators, a Battle Pass, and weapon balances. We have more than ten weapons that were either nerfed or buffed when the new season launched which has resulted in the NZ41 remaining the meta assault rifle.
Since then, we’ve had a number of small updates to improve gameplay. The new resurgence map, Fortune’s Keep has mixed reviews with many returning back to Rebirth Island. One of the major issues with the map was the lack of buy stations and lack of action.
Raven Software has increased the number of buy stations available on Fortune’s Keep from 10 to 13 and they released an exclusive playlist last weekend called Fortnite’s Keep Extreme where there are 60 players in a lobby instead of 48.
Radar Jammers are a common complaint with the new season, but again, Raven Software has attempted to address this. Yesterday, a small update was released that reduces the radius of the Radar Jammers by 20% on both Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island. They will continue to monitor the feedback from the community and make adjustments as necessary.
Today, Raven Software tweeted out that another small update has gone live. The Warzone season 4 patch notes have been amended with the July 14th, 2022 update, and we have the full patch notes for today’s release below.
Warzone Update Patch Notes 14th July 2022
Unfortunately, there’s no weapon balancing in today’s new Warzone update. The new release fixes three issues that has been plaguing the game for some time including an issue where AI enemies would target a trophy system if it was placed close to them.
Here are all the changes in today’s update:
- Fixed more collision issues with various elements across Fortune’s Keep allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them.
- Fixed an issue where an empty Loadout Drop would spawn when digging for buried treasure.
- Fixed an issue where AI enemies would target a Trophy System when it was placed near them.
Again, there are no weapon changes today, however, we’d love to know your opinion on the current meta in the comments section below.
