Wordle is a fairly new game, which is actually quite simple to play. There is a new Wordle every day and players need to guess the five letter word, although there is no clue as to what the word will be. When you guess the first time, the tiles will either change to green, yellow, or grey. Green shows that you have guessed the letter correctly and it is in the right place in the word. Yellow means you have guessed the right letter, but it is in the wrong place. Grey means the letter does not appear in the word at all.
So you want to make sure you get a good guess at the first word so you can figure out the letters in the Wordle for the day. Even though the word will more than likely contain a vowel, you cannot write all the vowels as a guess as all of the guesses need to be actual words in the English language. Even if the first word has letters you have guessed correctly, you do not need to use these letters in the next guess if you want to use a different word that has different letters so you can decipher more letters that are in the word. It is also important to note that even though the developers of the Wordle game (at www.powerlanguage.co.uk/wordle) are based in the UK, the words are based on American English.
If this is not challenging enough for you, you can even try the hard mode. You can change to this mode in the settings, which is located in the top right corner of the game. Once you click on the settings, you will see there is an option to turn the Hard Mode on. This mode requires you to use all of the letters you have guessed correctly in the previous word in all of the next guesses.
As you can see, there is also a Dark Theme and Color Blind Mode and links to both the email and Twitter account for Wordle, where you can leave any feedback.
